The Taburete Solido is designed to look and feel a singular monolithic form creating a sense of ambiguity in its assembly methods. The stool is composed of three total parts, the poplar wood base, the 1/8” steel reveal, and the white gypsum cement cast seat. All three pieces come together through an internal threaded rod which is cast into the seat and tied with a nut at the wood base.
